Rodney Menzel - President & Founder
Rod is the founder and co-owner of GreatWay Roofing, Inc. Construction has been in Rod's family for many years, beginning with his grandfather, who was a licensed contractor. Rod graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in both Finance and Real Estate. After graduating, Rod went to work in retail banking and quickly moved up the ladder to ultimately hold the title of Vice President. He left banking to pursue a dream of owning his own company. This dream became a reality when he founded this company, then called Great American Roofing & Waterproofing. Rod's day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales team, overseeing all company financials, strategic planning and building and maintaining vendor and customer relationships. Rod's primary goal in growing the Southern California / Ventura County roofing company is to ensure customer satisfaction by adding value and providing exceptional service.

Michelle Menzel - Marketing & Public Relations
Michelle is a co-owner with her husband, Rod. She is responsible for marketing, public relations and special projects for the company. Michelle left the corporate arena in 2001 to work with her husband in their business after 10 years in the marketing field working for such companies as Sizzler International, Kinko's and Technicolor. Michelle graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge in 1993. Michelle's primary goal is to effectively market and advertise GreatWay Roofing. Secondarily, she provides the sales staff with marketing and collateral materials that better inform our customers of our services.

Martin Saeger - Production Manager
Martin is responsible for overseeing all operations in the field as well as scheduling all jobs and ordering materials. Martin’s primary focus is on customer service, making each customer a raving fan of our company and maintaining GreatWay in the position of being the most reliable Southern California / Ventura County roofing contractor. He does this by remaining in contact with each customer before, during and after each job to provide updates, answer any questions and make sure the customer is completely satisfied.

Matt Saeger - Sales Manager
Matthew's primary responsibility is to service our residential and commercial clients by providing thorough roof inspections and professional recommendations to meet their needs. Matthew's dynamic and engaging personality is a real bonus to GreatWay customers, who genuinely enjoy working with him. He takes the extra effort to ensure their job runs smoothly and finishes on time.

Dan Irwin – Commercial Sales Manager
Dan's is responsible for the five separate services provided under GreatWay Roofing’s Commercial Roofing Program: re-roof, inspection, short-term patch, repair and maintenance. Each area is intended to meet clients’ needs depending on particular situations. Dan’s enthusiastic hard work ethic and charisma motivates GreatWay colleagues and clients alike. Dan offers more than 20 years of experience in service to customers in a variety of roles, including with American Airlines and CFC Mortgage Bankers.

Josh Marx - Estimator
Josh's primary responsibility is to service both commercial and residential clients by identifying their roofing needs and then recommending the best solution. Josh also spends much of his time developing new business. He takes the extra effort to ensure their job runs smoothly and finishes on time.

Bill Menzel - Project Manager, Northern & Southern California
Bill's primary responsibility is to coordinate with all suppliers, inspectors and company crews to complete each job on time and on budget, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. Bill is also responsible for handling special projects for GreatWay Roofing Southern California / Ventura County roofing contractor.

Tony Padilla - Project Foreman
Tony has been in the roofing business for more than 20 years. His specialty is re-roofing custom homes and commercial retail buildings. While on the job, Tony is responsible for ensuring the job meets the manufacturer’s specifications and uniform building code standards. Tony is also responsible for the crew’s safety while ensuring the customers’ property is kept in perfect order from the beginning to the end of each job.

Jose Macias - Project Foreman
Jose has been in the roofing business for more than 20 years. The majority of Jose’s time is spent on commercial buildings due to his extensive training in the installation of Cool Roof Systems, including Single-Ply PVC and Acrylic. While working, Jose is responsible for ensuring each job meets the manufacturer’s specifications and uniform building code standards. Jose is also responsible for the crew’s safety while making sure that the customers’ property is kept in perfect order from the beginning to the end of each job.

Alfredo Padilla, Jr. - Field Superintendent
Alfredo Jr. (a.k.a. “Junior”) is responsible for assisting Martin in making sure the needs of the customers and crew are met. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating shop materials as well as troubleshooting any roof-related issues that may arise.

Amelia Craig - Office Administrator
Amelia is primarily responsible for all facets of office operations, including answering phones, generating contracts and invoicing customers. She is also responsible for working with multiple manufacturers to order collateral materials for the company. Most importantly, Amelia is a customer service agent for GreatWay and responds to various customer requests and questions on a daily basis. Her friendly personality and care for our customers is a notable asset to our Ventura County roofing company.

Dawn Espinosa - Office Administrator
Dawn is primarily responsible for accounts payable and receivables as well as Human Resources. She is also involved with all facets of office operations including answering phones, generating contracts, invoicing and purchasing. Most importantly, Dawn is a customer service agent for GreatWay Roofing and responds to various customer requests and questions on a daily basis.
